Biogas from sludge fermentation

Water quality is heavily affected by sewage water. The primary protection measure is to treat the water in treatment plants.

The sludge is a by-product of sewage water which has been treated in a water treatment plant, containing fecal matter and residual biomass, which contain a variety of potentially toxic natural substances (nutrients, organic material). Beacause of this, using the sludge as biogas material is an optimal way to facilitate efficient waste management.

The mixture of gases from the sludge fermentation is an efficient fuel provider for GE Jenbacher gas engine.
